I challenge Dan Clark to produce any evidence of the insulting allegations that he has made against residents and property owners of Juniper Flats. As a further absurdity, Dan is describing his own "hood" in terms of lawlessness-(particularly methamphetamine sales).
Last Saturday's LA Times reported one of the largest and fastest growing skinhead gangs has recruited most rapidly in Huntington Beach. These white supremacists have ties to racist Aryan Brotherhood and Nazi Low Rider prison gangs. They specialize in meth sales, identity theft and credit card fraud. Some members were caught in a recent sting after targeting an County prosecutor and five police officers for assassination.
Why Orange County? Some of you may recall the John Birch Society, a hard-core conservative organization founded in Orange County in the 1960's. They were determined to keep Orange County white, ultra-conservative and religiously fundamental. Birchers were anti-government despite the fact that they and their community were primarily supported by the defense industry, a hypocrisy they seemed not to recognize. They saw Communists lurking behind every door and were so far to the right, they would have accused George Bush of being a leftist.
