Off-roader's internet lies on DUSA

Just a FYI, there is a rabid wacko off-road zealot by the name of Dan Clark ,who is claiming that property owners in the Juniper Flats are responsible for methamphetamine production and stolen vehicle chop shops over on the Desertusa.com "desert environmental and land use issues" forum. His motive is to attempt to discredit efforts by land owners to reduce OHV abuse in the Juniper Flats area.

It seems like Dan is upset that San Bernardino County property owners are banding together to combat the ongoing problem of OHV trespass and illegal trailburning on public lands. Thans in part to our efforts, the San Bernardino County Sheriff's and Code Enforcement dept now have a new law that they are enforcing requiring off-roaders to have written permission to stage and ride on private property they do not own.

Too bad Dan, we are continuing to observe, document and report the illegal and irresponsible behavior of the off-roaders who simply cannot abide by the law. Local property owners and concerned residents will continue to report each and every incident of OHV vandalism to restoration projects, fence cutting, trail burning, illegal hillclimbing and trespass that we observe. We are getting some much needed attention and funding to combat the problems associated with illegal and irresponsible off-roaders.
