I liked your monkey story, and I do see the analogy. But I wouldn't allow the stories on this forum to prevent you from accessing through Bowen Ranch if that is your best option. (not trying to talk you into it, either)

Most people who buy into William and Gail's stories are those who already have an axe to grind with Mike Castro...such as people who have been turned away at the ranch, or locals who feel that the shortest path to the springs from their places should be free to them even though it crosses private property. At least that is my impression from reading the forum and talking to people about it at the springs. Since William and Gail know that they cannot really take control of the Bowen Ranch because they have no right to do so, they spend their energies trying to scare and persuade people away from Mike Castro. Perhaps they feel that they can persuade enough people away to affect Mike's money, and so "get even" with him for "cutting them out of the deal." Personally, I'd be much more afraid of having to deal with William and Gail than I am of dealing with Mike Castro.

Let's see what kind of names they will call me now for sharing my opinion.
