Gary, This story of Monkeys responding to the stimulus of being sprayed, creating a mannerism in them of preventing other monkeys from getting on the steps to the banana, and this mannerism being transferred to new monkeys introduced into the group, is an interesting example of animal behavior and responses. However, there are issues regarding Mike Castro, and his conduct, in his time of residence at the Bowen Ranch, that have created responses from people, reactions, to the unlawful activity of Mike Castro. The folks negatively affected take these experiences seriously, and do not consider themselves as Monkeys blindy responding to some ill defined stimulus. Now I respect your opinion on things Gary, you know that. I would always suggest to people observing these contentious discussions, and observations, about Mike Castro, that they become well informed before beginning to form a judgement of what represents the truth of these matters. I did not form my own opinion of these issues quickly, I have talked to a great number of people, and have observed the activity in the area, for many years.
