Just for clairification: The BLM and the National Forest Service are funded by the federal budget. The states financial situation has nothing to do with the level of funding these agencies recieve, however, Bush has not been good for the BLM and National Forests budget. It is most interesting to note that its seems as if Law Enforcement in public lands is not something the republican administration supports.
