Sycamore, Thanks for that info about the differance between Democracy and Consensus. I have been under the impression that we would be operating our group in a democratic fashion. Was it brought up somewhere, by someone, that we have chosen to operate on a consensus basis. Since we have shown that we have differant points of veiw on things it seems to me that the Democratic method would get things decide more effectively. The process that Ron is using to decide the name, what would that be considered, democratic or consensus? Concerning people going without clothes at DCHS and the surrounding Forest Service area, I think that people are relatively safe doing this as shown by the history of the place and as indicated by Brad Burns. I just want people to be aware that other agencies can act on state laws concerning nudity in these same areas because DCHS is not a designated clothing optional area. Mainly this information should be conidered in regards to getting dressed around any roads or in BLM lands. Brad has told me that if the other agencies started coming down to the springs and issueing tickets or arresting people for nudity that the Forest Service would take real exception to this and would be in contact with these other agencies about something like this. I know Ron mentioned in the brochure that we would, as members of this group be bringing extra stuff to share with other visitors like suntan lotion, etc and I don't think this is necesary to mention in the brochure. If we as group members wish to offer something to a visitor, just as a friendly jesture thats fine, but I don't think we should in essence mandate that as one of the things that a visitor should expect from us. I agree with you on that point. I think this brochure we are working on will be an important tool to gather more people into a cohesive group that will look after the interest of these special springs. DCHS will need something like this even more as time goes by.
