On the day that I read Ron's rough draft at the springs is when we talked about the decision-making process. Ron said he thought we would be consensus-seeking. He also said later in a post that the reason he is giving so many rounds for voting is to try to get more consensus.
You are right Wizard that democracy gets things done more quickly. I, however, favor the Native American (and other tribal peoples world-wide) view that having 49% of a group unhappy is not a good thing, which is why I was glad to hear Ron say that he also favored consensus-seeking, and glad to see that that is how he's been doing things. If, in fact, the decision on that has not been made, then I think we need to make it.
I favor consensus-seeking. Minority viewpoints are important, too.
