Wizard says that if someone is really concerned and interested in DCHS then they would not balk at reading the brochure. True, but the people who are so interested and concerned are not the ones who need to read the brochure! We are trying to come up with something that can give some good etiquette tips to help keep the springs clean.
I am confused as to why it is so important to have two-thirds of the brochure dedicated to advertising our group. That is all internal stuff. Must we advertise, for example, that we will be carrying extra food and sunscreen as a means of appearing friendly? Why? Just be friendly! I'm not saying that the MS and How We Help sections shouldn't exist, but I see no reason for them to be on the brochure.
As for searching for the forum, when I searched all I came up with was Katrina's website. I had to access the forum through her website link for my first time. (Then I put it on my "favorites." I had to scroll all the way through her website to find the forum link at the end.
But, we've heard from Wizard, DCR, AZ Mike, myself, Paul, Paul P., and Laughing Bear. Paul P. sounds like he's o.k. either way. Laughing Bear says that independence from the feud is a good thing, but not specifically that we should not use the forum. Ron suggested the forum, but perhaps before considering the potential problems with doing so.
O.k.---I've seen a lot of others posting on this forum. Let's give it a little time and see what other opinions may be.
