Thank you for this thread. Truth, indeed is a touchy subject, many people claim TRUTH, to be in their possesion, but usually that truth has a motive, or conditioning biasing the perception. Most of us feel the "self" is self evident, so to speak, as every day experience seems to bare out. Is there an ultimate, unconditioned or absolute Truth? Can thought come up with it, or is Truth of a different dimension altogether? Certainly belief, an assertion of thought is biased and motivated by human need, humans have theorized about ultimate truth, in order to bring some light and order to the chaos of existance. Perhaps, the correct perception of Truth and the illusion of Self (including so called free will), comes when thought sees it's own limitations and allows something not of it's own making emerge?
