Thanks for that information Jim, thats an interesting story you tell about being confronted because of not paying the two buck toll, immediatily upon entering through the Bowen Toll Gate. Funny thing too, you say these armed folks all left, once you gave em the two bucks. Like I've been telling some of these folks, here at this forum, its amazing the lengths, the various residents, business men, of the Bowen Ranch have gone too in guarding thier cash flow. Striking, what they have felt it necesary to do, for a couple of bucks. If they would react as strongly as you have suggested Jim, over a few dollars, just think of what they would be willing to do, for a whole years worth of tolls. Like I said before to some here, who never get it, " The money does matter to the Bowen Ranch Toll Businessmen ". This Toll money has driven a long history of violence, vandalism, and aggresive confrontations at the Bowen Ranch, and in the surrounding area. Hopefully, some day, this Historic Ranch will be a place of good will and peace, for " all " the DCHS visitors, and not an income source, that those getting the money, will take extreme measures to defend. All of this brings back the memory of what Celtfire recently described Mike Castro as saying to him, in a past conversation, that he would let know one, interfere with his income source, the Bowen Ranch. Looks like its business as usual, at the Bowen Toll Ranch. Thanks again Jim for sharing your thoughts here :-)
