Hello Mr. Wizard.
Hey man, I don't think I made it sound that there's a "one rule" thing going on here. Maybe it came out of me that way, but it's not what I intended. There are no rules that I am aware of.
I am also sorry you had a rotten experience last Saturday evening after you and the kids returned back to your truck from the hot springs. I guess I wasn't paying much attention to your original long post / thread and my frame of mind was not where it should have been. I don't want sit here and make a bunch of excuses, but my mind at the time of your original post of the matter, was really elsewhere with this "Mission Statement" thing.
I have looked over some of the comments made to you by others and it looks like there's some good advice for you. One thing I was glad hear, is that you got a hold of Ranger Brad and got his feelings about what transpired, go with that! If anyone knows, it is he.
I really agree with mp about what he stated as well. Ranger Brad and law enforcement need to communicate more and law enforcement needs to understand what goes on up there in the backcountry, regarding this "clothing optional" wilderness hot springs environment. It clearly shows us, that they, (law enforcement) don't understand much of the area where we hike and soak. I believe, (they think) their still in the city and the laws of clothing "on or off" applies, and it simply doesn't.
I've known you and wife wizard for years and you're both good parents to the two girls. I feel bad when I hear that you might not take them to the springs anymore. furthermore, I feel you handle matters well at the springs when you have them with you.
Hey, if you need any help, I just want to let you know I am here to to support ya. Peace brother hot springer! Az.
