Wiz, I've been thinking, (sometimes dangerous to do) that when you returned to your truck last Saturday evening, you may have violated the quarter mile law regarding nudity near a public street / roadway.
I think when you arrived to your truck and the sheriff/s spotted you and the kids, they may have thought you violated the law.
I remember a conversation with Ranger Brad years ago about that very subject. He mentioned to me that if at any time you are hiking nude on the trails, you must get dressed within a quarter mile of any civilization meaning; towns, public roadways or streets and etc ...
Might it be possible that is what they, (Sheriff/s) were really concerned with? or was it maybe because of murders of childern? or both?
Just thought I would mention that "Quarter Mile Rule" thing to you if it helps any.
