I feel the same way about this. If Mike Castro Cash Machine Ranch was the one and only way to go to DCHS, and all I had to do was pay him the $5 bucks in cash to get there, I wouldn't do it, I just wouldn't go. Late last year I got a flat on my truck which I unfortunately did not have the tools to fix. Even though the Bowen Ranch was ony about a mile and a half away from where I was, I walked about 5 miles to get to another residence where I got some help. I'd walk 20 miles home if I had to before I would have any dealings whatsoever with Mike! With what I have come to know about Mike and his nefarious activities in the area, paying him to park on his property, or having any kind of association with him would be to my mind looking away from and condoning in a fashion what he has perped on people in the area. I understand there are lots of visitors to DCHS, especially newer ones that have no knowledge of these things, and only have the basis of their brief interactions with Mike at the gate to go on. But what I'm telling you about is meant for the purpose of informing you that Mike is something differant than the Nice Guy Caretaker of DCHS that he makes himself out to be regarding all of those people who use the Bowen Ranch for parking, visitors who keep his wallet full of cash.
