Thanks 4 infoming us Wizard. Yesterday I went snorkeling in the Gulf of Mexico looking for fish and crabs. Which used to be abundant. After a half an hour of looking I only saw 1 crab and a small school of minnows. The global warming is _ucking up the oceans too. I think it is from all the acid rain. BUT, we are NOT going to stop driving our cars 4 them are WE ? Sometimes I dream about you and Iby jobe - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Paul, You must not have got the memo. I am in Florida building homes for my friends and relatives. I am planning a 2 week return in April after I pay my taxes. And my apply for work at Harbin if I am needed there. Keep the good vibes flowing 😆by jobe - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Paul, I have no opinion because I have not seen it. Except from pictures here. If Wizard doesn't like it I do not like it either. I have a 10 pound sledge hammer that will fix it. What was unique about the receñt quakes was their timing. They occurred just minutes after at 5.5 off the coast of Santa Monica and hours before a 6.0 near the Olympic peninsula near Canada. While watching the national news about the Valley fire near Napa Valley I noticed some thing in the corner of the screen about a hot springs. With fire on both sides of the road. It reminded me of my visits to Harbin hot springs. Does anyone here know if Harbin hot springs survived the fire ? They are very near Middleton and I saw what happened there. And how about Calistoga CA. ? Did the fire goby jobe - California Hot Springs

Amelia Sue, My real name is Joe. I am a hot spring regular and I would appreciate you not using my name in your song. So people would not think I am rich ;-) I enjoyed watching you wax poetic and am looking forward to your new edition. Thanks Wizard for setting the story staight. Good job as you usually do. Perhaps you and Amelia Sue should exchange email addresses so you can be her song ediby jobe - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
I have heard those rumors too ? This I know - my neighbor who was a regular back in 2012 and the again in 2013 got a ticket For camping. Both times it was 62$ fine with a 5$ administration fee. Perhaps ? Some one who recently got one of these new tickets will sign on here and confirm this new fine and fee. Otherwise I do not believe rumors.by jobe - Deep Creek Hot Springs, Apple Valley, California
Missingbee, First of all camping within one mile of the creek is illegal. The fine is 67$. If you are caught rangers look for other illegal things stuff like glass or drugs. So that can cost much more than 500$. I have camped at the Freedom trail hundreds of times with only a small amount of trouble. I suggest you camp there also. It is only 1.2 miles to the springs. Action is better than words. I agree with all of Katrina's advice. Also print out this website and enter that as evidence. It will also help them evaluate your situation. The weather was the best in the country and too beautiful not to go to deep creek. There was a small consistant breeze and only a few high clouds at 12:30. Thanks for helping with that link Paul. Yesterday, while at the springs. I came into contact with a person who witnessed this event. He called Murphy his brother. Neogeo, Yes it was, every time I write these stories I think of something I forgot to mention. This time I forgot to mention the rainbow in the sky ! First you have to ask yourself why does that matter ? It was just after Thanksgiving 1997. I was leaving the hot springs and Mike Castro and David Boyer were going toward the springs half way down the trail. Mike had a 9mm on his hip and David had a large Bowie knife strapped to his leg. Yes, it makes me wander if we are in for an earth shaking event soon. Thanks for helping keep the springs in a clean condition.
