How about legal documents? In order to transfer title to a property interest, you need to use a Grant Deed, Quitclaim Deed, Court Judgment, etc.

Fred Moss signed a Grant Deed transferring his property interest to Mike Castro. Fred Moss owned only unimproved land.

Where is the chain of title relating to the Bowen Ranch buildings in light of the New York Owners and the Court Judgement awarding the ownership to the New York Owners? Where did the interest of the New York Owners disappear to in Fred Moss' chain of title?

DCHS, Inc. chain of title is as follows:

Gertie Bowen transfers her property interest to the New York Owners
The property interest is determined by a court judgment to be the Bowen Ranch lands to the south (one parcel) and the Bowen Ranch buildings and related land (the 40 acres) (second parcel)
The court determined that there were two parcels owned by Gertie Bowen and then transferred to the New York Owners

The Bowen Ranch lands south of the Bowen Ranch were transferred to Rancho Las Flores by the New York Owners.

The Bowen Ranch buildings and related land were transferred to DCHS, Inc.
by the New York Owners.
