Wizard,
Lemme get this right: You bought interest in a Quit Claim Deed on someone else's property [quoting you:] "...for the purpose of hopefully seeing The Historic Bowen Ranch become a non-profit entity for the benifit of all hotspringers, not a business that depends on paying visitors, a business that benifits by advertising for more visitors, paying customers".
You must be assuming the deed has value and that DCHS, Inc really does own the Bowen Ranch buildings, otherwise you'd have to drop the entire thing. On the other hand, maybe you've realized that perhaps it's not worth anything, and you're just going to wait and see if Katrina can make her case in court. Wierder things have happened in courts.
Either way, I find it appalling that you'd be party to a "hostile takeover" of another person's property. I call it 'hostile' because neither YOU nor Katrina have ANY legal interest in the property. You never owned it. You never paid the mortgages. You never lived there. All you ever had was a pipedream desire to have something you're not entitled to and a piece of paper you assume gives you the right to take it.
