I hiked through a pretty good swarm of bees right at Bradford Spring about two weeks ago. Sounded like their hive was in the stump of the old scrub oak right at the switch back. Had a couple of them get caught in my hair right behind my ear- sounded like they were all attacking- got a pretty nasty sting on the forearm.
