Yes, it's a real bummer deal. Vet Ed did not own the cabin and has decided to move in order to be closer to his kids. Scott Parker has been hanging around and "caretaking" the property for Pope Don Whittington. Scott has been arrested several times recently for various petty crimes and code enforcement has deemed the cabin to be unsafe for habitation due to code violations.

When the Sheriff's dept recieved the call about the shooting, they were suprised to discover it did not involve Scott. The shooting took place in the wash across the road from the Webb place and if it were not for the concern and intervention by Mr Webb, the victim would have probably died.
