Once,
Back in the mid 90's Dave called my cell phone. Little did I know how much trouble a cell phone call may lead to.
He said " he was in trouble and needed my truck to get him out of a jam." So I drive out to Lucerne Valley to move his trashy little trailer with 2 rats some baby kittens and a SNAKE !
So I hook him up to move him to the Village. Then I tell him the rats and kittens can go but the snake HAS to get away. I was bitten back in '83 and I will not help a snake go anywhere with me. So Dave walks about 100 yards away and releases the snake. While he is away an angry older man came up to me saying Dave owes him rent ... Where was his rent. I told him I knew nothing about it. When Dave returned he had a shovel and swung it at him. Missing by inches ! I grabbed the shovel away from him.
