Mojavegreen, I think Jobe was referring to the old road from off of the old portion of 3N59A ( which has since been moved northerly ) down to the Indian Camp at Deep Creek. That road was pretty rough, and steep in places. Careless people would go down into the canyon, only to find thier vehicle not up to getting them back out. I even got stuck on that road one rainy day ( Jan 31st ) back in 1998, it was my 40th Birthday. Luckily I had some carpet in the back of my truck, which got my truck unstuck after about an hour's work, leaving me plenty of time to make my Birthday Party that evening :-)
