I agree with all of your points above to Ron, so my vote is to submit the letter to Brad, and then we should respect what the USFS wants to do about this trail. As you said I think it would not be benificial for the DCV group to get involved with monitering trail usage, there is plenty to do at DCHS. Even though I don't agree with the stated erosion problem, I still think we are fortunate to have an easy going and considerate guy like Brad as the enforcement officer for the DCHS area. The presence of him, and his Sheriffs associates does help to keep things under control down there.
