The gravel caps were required as a consequence of disturbance by creation of roads. One was Juniper Flats Rd. and the other was the jeep trail to Cottonwood Springs. There were only two routes and both of them had disturbed cultural sites. Does that not give you some clue as to the abundance of these sites and the threat imposed by added routes (such as J1299) through this area?
As far a your suggestion that I conduct an investigation and present evidence, the Barstow Field Office will be required to substantiate their charges without my participation.
No one will dispute that J1299 was birthed in the Amended Decision Record without prior public review. You attended the meetings. Why do you dwell on sometihing that you already know?
I suggest you conduct your own investigations if you want your questions answered. We do not share a common agenda.
