jcrew, you need to confirm that the picture the police were showing around the mountain is really him. If so, report him immediately and get the authorities to go down to Deep Creek to arrest this guy. Show the authorities where he is if you have to. Gotta get this guy out of there!
agreed paul, that's my game plan. i've never called the cops on another living soul in my life. i'm really sorry to have drama around the hot springs; winter is starting to show it's face, so maybe old man winter will just blow the riff raff out like he always does. but i don't want scott getting away, he deserves to be in a cell instead of in paradise, like i say. and i told him, "if you're not the guy, i appoligize sincerely. but i think you are." he gave me the strangest look, i know it's him. i rousted him 2 months ago and he disappeared for a while. but by his own admission he "never left".
a couple afterthoughts:
what about this little girl down there? i didn't see her last saturday, but friends said they saw her, the "dad" and the white dog named buck on sunday morning. i tried to talk with the "father", but he acted like he was going to spray bear mase on me. others who were present found his reaction very odd.
also, this guy carson, for whatever his word is worth, told me that the cops came down to the springs, showed a picture of the wanted man to him, and he confirmed (positive i.d.) that scott is indeed the wanted man.
