Seems like the authorities need to work with the people like Jcrew who recognizes this guy, plan a day to go down there, get identification that this " scott " guy is there, have people up high on the ridges that can watch his movements in the canyon with binoculars so he can't just run off and hide when the officers move in to get him. And since Jcrew you wrote this above " i can find scott easy; seems the cops can't " , and because you were threatened I would think the enforcement people would want to use your help to apprehend this individual. Jcrew have you informed the authorities yet about the incident where this scott guy threatened to shoot you? This alone should get them down there to do something about this problem person.
