Hey there Jason :-) I have been thinking that with all of the economic troubles going on ( and its definitely getting worse ) that DCHS will be experiencing more problems with ill mannered and problematic people of various types. Also I would imagine that the USFS is struggling also with general funding for their activities which is probably curtailing their ability to get down there to the springs to make a presence, write tickets, etc as much as they used to. Its like that old saying " the squeaky wheel gets the grease " so the more they get reports of these things from the visitors who are impacted or concerned maybe it will help to get the USFS down there to perhaps resolve some of these issues. Its also not the easiest place for the USFS to get to which clearly limits their visits also.
