Jobe, referencing your two most recent post:
Regarding the T-6 crossing, I had never tried to find out " exactly " where this bridge is since I do not frequent that area. It was not a lengthy investigation however to find out where it was, taking a number of minutes after entering in Google " T-6 crossing San Bernardino National Forest ". The rule regarding this is specific, the bridge location is specific, and I don't see any ambiguity to any of this. You wrote, " Hook creek still is not Deep Creek ". Where did I say Hook Creek was Deep Creek? You say the T-6 bridge was built to save the Arroyo Toad. How could a bridge that crosses a part of a 20+ mile long stream save a toad species? I'm curious where you got this idea that the T-6 crossing is a toad saving bridge. What would I need to clear my head about? My intent is merely to clarify the info about the T-6 crossing, which I referenced accurately the first time. Any of what I posted above does not reference someone breaking this or that rule. I just referenced what the rules actually are. Regarding two bridges on Deep Creek, I assume your talking about foot bridges in this case. There is the bridge downstream from DCHS where the PCT crosses Deep Creek, and another from what I hear near Splinters Cabin ( burnt but recently rebuilt? ) where the PCT crosses Deep Creek. Perhaps this is what Rick was referring too. What are you implying by writting this, " I have hiked the entire length of Deep creek. Can anyone else here make that claim ? ", that somehow you must know what you are talking about since you have walked the entire length of Deep Creek maybe? If not, then what are we to glean ( what you meant to imply ) from that statement? Jobe, we have been friends for a long while. I,m just questioning the accuracy of some of these things you have said above. I don't see you refuting my information in your responses. If there's something that I have stated in this thread that you dispute, then offer up your evidence as to what I have claimed in error.
