Jobe, so I'm miring public perception with mud? Your awfully quick to praise yourself with exacting information of perception, when I can remember at least a few occasions when your information was shown to be erroneous/muddy. When the DCV group was active, we had a brochure of information which we handed out to the public for information. We specifically had info on it which cited rules that applied to Deep Creek. We got this information from the USFS. Rules such as no camping within 1mile of Deep Creek on either side, no glass, no fires, etc, and one of these was that there was no nudity allowed " on Deep Creek " within a quarter mile of the T-6 crossing. I assume the T-6 crossing relates to a bridge over Deep Creek, not over Hook Creek, otherwise why would the USFS cite a rule related to Deep Creek for a bridge that is not even as you seem to suggest within at the very least a quarter mile from Deep Creek itself? I'll call the USFS to find out what this rule " really " relates too, since I wouldn't want to be feeding the public muddy info. Another thing I want to check on is what exactly does the part of the rule that states, " nudity is allowed in the Deep Creek drainage,,,, " really means since a drainage refers to all land areas that flow into a given river or stream, which clearly is an enourmous area beyond the bounds of the given river or stream itself.
