Mojavegreen is a private property owner and his interests stem from that point of view. From my point of view, there is nothing wrong with legally defending private property rights. His beef mostly involves the BLM and in particular Ranger Nelson.
However, the people who enjoy the hotsprings have other interests such as safe and reasonable access. This involves the BLM, the U.S.F.S, the SB Sheriff Dept, and the individual at the Bowen Ranch.
If we are successful in opening Moss Mill Road for public access, what is to stop Mike Castro from harassing people who use that road again? What is to stop him from vandalizing vehicles? We don't have any law enforcement presence and the place is isolated.
When you know someone personally who has experienced being threatened or physically attacked, of course, you have emotions about that. Just look at the Katrina disaster, people are crying because their friends or relatives have died or been physically harmed. This is a normal and healthy human reaction to be concerned about other people you know and care about.
I just became determined to remove the harmful individual in a legal manner and that is what I will pursue.
