In regard to rights to "rights to Bowen Ranch", the only right the public has is the Moss Mill Rd. easement that crosses Bowen Ranch. (Please be reminded that the public purchased Moss Mill Rd. and its Bowen Ranch easement from Las Flores.)
As for Katrina's desire for ownership, Bowen Ranch would have no value as the single safe gateway to the hot springs if historic Moss Mill Rd. had been allowed to remain open.
The current requirement to use a circuitous and unsafe route is a product of BLM favoritism enriching a private property owner.
