Paul P. , Thanks for that observation. I will ask Brad about that. These search and rescue people with the sheriffs dept would supposedly have arrested my because I was merely an adult who was naked in front of minors. Since there are minors at the springs on a regular basis as well as naked adults then I would say that these agencies would be in a position to arrest any naked adult in front of a minor at the springs. Based on what I talked about with Brad and also on the many years of my experience I feel that what happened to me up near my car was an unusual fluke type situation and that it would be highly unlikely to occur on the trails, at DCHS or in the surrounding Forest Service area. But as seen by my situation it is a " possible " threat. For the consideration the visitors that visit DCHS and are following Forest Service policy about nudity I am trying to see if there is a way to make sure something like this does not occur to some unsespecting adult just because they are nude in front of a minor in those Forest Service lands we frequent around DCHS. I also once heard a story of a guy who was confronted in the DCHS area by a Fish and Game Ranger who came across this man hiking on one of the trails near the springs. The man said the Ranger told him to put his clothes on which he did without complaint and then this Fish and Game Ranger went on to give this man a moral lecture about why he was wrong for being out there without cloths. Also the Ranger threatened that he could have arrested this man. This is another case of conflicting policy that presented a threat to a nude adult in the DCHS area, and it had nothing to do with children. For the saftey and peace of mind of all of us I think these agencies need to come to a common, accepted policy for the area. That is the only way to be fair to the visitors.
