Well, I have been corrected offline about my hearsay...that ranger guy did not refer to himself as a cancer. That is one of the reasons to be careful about hearsay! Not sure what to call him now...but the proliferation of illegal OHV activity and his failure to address it does create a cancerous condition in our area.

Thanks, Mojave Green for explaining that fence project so well. I've heard that some people are believing what that ranger guy has said about it. I know that that is not true!

As for tax dollars...how about the tax dollars spent in partial fencing of the ACEC and eradicating of a road that used to go through there? That must have cost us something. Did we throw that money away or will the BLM enforce the "no motorized vehicles" rule that came with it? J1299 violates that rule. The BLM failure to enforce closure of J1299 is a direct slap in the face to the taxpayer!
