Re: DCV meeting...comments

I was very pleased with our meeting this month. It was especially nice to have the input and participation of two newer members, Richard and Don, and the return of Scott and Matt. We managed to cover a long agenda without digressions or disagreement, and the break in the middle seemed to refresh everyone.

I'm glad that we decided to have a newsletter as well, and I hope that many members will make contributions to it.

I feel that we missed some important details in Item #8, public acknowledgements.

I want to recognize Ron for his professional approach to everything, his ability to coordinate many details for our group, his ability to compose well-written letters and documents on very short notice, and his superb diplomacy.

Matt deserves public credit, too, for not letting his young age prevent him from contributing at least as much work and effort into all our tasks as do the adults in our group. Thank you Matt!

Wizard also should be acknowledged for doing trash-removal both before and after our meetings.

Finally, once again I would like to thank all people, members and non-members, who help with the efforts to keep DCHS clean, friendly, and family-oriented with their good attitudes and trash removal. All your efforts are noticed an appreciated!!
