My children, when they do go to DCHS these days, are always kept in my view, or my wifes view. DCHS gets questionable folks, from time to time, thats true enough, just like many other outdoor public places. If I see something really threatening, I would, without hesitation, speak up, as I did one day when I saw a guy sneaking pictures of naked females. I told one of the husbands of one of these gals, he had a serrious talk with this man, the man left quickly. I watch over, anyone, who might interact with my kids. If they happen to see, by some chance, some sexual act, by some careless person, trust me, they won't melt. If you met my kids, you would realize, thier not that fragile. I just tell them the truth about things, as much as possible. Of course I would immediatly, hopefully with the support of others, go to talk to the persons doing this. DCHS should be protected as an atmosphere for families, as well as for other groups. I will continue to support that it remain that way. As for Jobe, we had a talk about all of this, the stories, etc, as I mentioned before. My kids have enjoyed his presence, and have asked if Joe was going to be at the Hiking when we went, because they have enjoyed playing with him, so they have enjoyed his company. I am watchful, as I would be with anyone who is around my kids. My wife, approaches this situation with the same careful consideration and caution, and we are in agreement, on our approach to this situation of the saftey of our children at the springs. My daughter also are getting into school now, and with the introduction of many new friends, will most likely, not be as interested in DCHS and Deep Creek, as thier Papa is :-)
