Paul P., I had already started to remove the graffiti from the rocks prior to speaking with Ranger Brad. I did that because of some very noticeable graffiti on rocks on that small sandy beach across from the warm pools. Soon after, I spotted Ranger Brad at the springs and informed him of what I was doing. He was delighted and wanted to pay me for the graffiti remover, but I told him it was on the house.
Mike C. at Bowen Ranch, Ranger Brad and few of us all been talking about it for some time now. I've made some suggestions as to how to deal with any graffiti in the future and we'll deal with it when the time comes.
What's on the rocks now, may have to be there for awhile longer as trying to remove it in the warmer weather is considerably more difficult. Our group (DCV) has a good working relationship with ranger Brad. In the mean time we all hope the rocks don't get it again.
