The thing that none of you understand is attitude. It is unnecessary to be arrogant. I realize that it is difficult to communicate emotions in text such as this, but I feel as if people are being more defiant here than they need to be.
My guess is that none of you are as familiar with the Pacific Crest Trail as I am. If you were then you would be more understanding and less .... whatever you call it; as if you know it all. People that truly know it all are more humble.
I said I have not been there for a long time and that has been taken advantage of.
As for the beach, if this were a programming question then I would say instead of insisting you are correct, show me the documentation. In this situation, instead of saying "I suggest you re-visit the springs and renew your acquaintance with the landscape" it woud be better to be more respectful of what I said. There was a beach similar to the one in the video, and based on the sparse pictures in this site, the beach is still there as I recall. That beach is not surrunded by cliffs as in the video. If the beach has changed, then say that instead of replying in the manner here. I however doubt it has changed that much. I think people are responding too quickly.
