For those of you that dont know. When I first started going to the springs back about 1989. You would pass through Bowen Ranch and park at the "4x4" parking lot. You could park at the ranch or go down to the 4x4 parking. I think the sign at the Bowen Ranch recomened 4x4 vechicals only. I used to go down with my 2WD Ranger. It was known as the Bowen Ranch Toll Road.
Hey windsailor, is that your white Ford 4x4 Crew Cab? I think I followed you up the trail in my white Bronco!
