I take I 15 to 138 east through the twistys then north on Summit Valley Road, Right on Ranchero, at the end turn left on Lake Arrowhead Road and then right on Rock Springs......you miss th city and its way more scenic. Quicker? Not really. Going through town is a time of day thing.
