It was a first time ever that I saw motorcycles two of them on the beach just across from the hot pools. These jerks were smart enough to remove their tags to avoid detection. When I arrived at the springs I had to marvel at the site of these obviously talented bike riders.
First of all I was so happy to be at DCHS I jogged all the way from the freedom trail to the springs in 14minuets and 40seconds. I usually make it in the 15-17 minuet range.
So I was out of breath when I arrived. Later while talking to Greg and David (2hot spring regulars) I learned the rangers had been called. The forest service must have been to busy to get to the springs about this matter.
As the bikers were leaving it took @ 30 minuets for them to make it up mo fo hill because of the steepness of the hill. This was remedied by making a new trail through the bushes further west of the normal trail.
I am not a violent person. But, the next time I see this I think I will just kick ass and take names. Maybe that will get the rangers attention.
