Ty Davis was one of Ranger Nelson's OHV Volunteers. He helped burn new OHV trails into Juniper Flats and Arrastre Canyon during the Willow Fire Closure, including J1299 through the cultural site at Cottonwood Springs.
Besides claiming that his illegal trails helped wildlife by making it easier to walk through the desert, Davis recently claimed that his OHV hillclimbs aided desert ecology by bringing water to plants at lower elevation.
