I just returned from my first trip to Saline Valley......Wow, Heaven on earth...Locals say the roads are the best they have seen in years. We saw a small SUV pulling a small trailer pulling in. If you can..GO (but soon before it gets hot). Beautiful place, wonderful people. About 40 folks there on Saturday and Sunday, some left, others arrived, maybe 30 yesterday. Great weather, but windy Monday night. Sunrise at the Volcano Pool is a treat not to be missed. Or enjoy a nap on the grass down at the Lower Springs. Great hikes in the local mountains.
