I just returned from my second trip to Saline Valley......Still Haven on earth..Roads were ok, but not as good as last year. Went in on South Pass in just over 2 hours from pavement. Out on North a couple days later, some snow and mud, but these weren't a problem.....Rocks were a problem! Have good tires and plug kit and fix a flat and full size spare(s). Great soaking, really nice people. Just feels like a wonderful community. Few folks at lower springs, about 20 at middle springs, but we were all spread out. Great stars at night and a big moon!
