I wonder if that almost 14 inches of rain for Lytle Creek was just for this last storm, or the last two storms? Either way thats alot of rain. I don't know where Blue Cut is, and I couldn't figure out from the graphs how much rain it received. I went into Victorville today and I crossed the Mohave River on Bear Valley Road. The Mohave River is no longer dry, and was at around 12PM a good sized river. You could see by the erosion left by the running water during the storm that the runoff had earlier almost completely filled the channel from side to side. Deep Creek and DCHS has most likey received some significant flooding from this last storm. It shall be interesting to see what changes have occurred. Lots and lots of vegetation has grown up in the creek during the last five years and with a good flood some portion of the new growth will be ripped out by the flood waters and carried down stream. We may see some big debris piles if the flooding was high enough.
