Nice to hear DCR :-) I saw an Eagle about a month ago land in front of me on a telephone pole near our home in Apple Valley. There were some ravens harrassing it. I pulled my vehicle up in front of the pole very close and even got out my binoculars to check it out more closely. It did not have the white head but I've heard that the young Bald Eagles don't get thier white heads until after about four or five years of growth. It was definitly an Eagle though :-)
