In a meeting with the BLM today, CDD manager Linda Hanson and Barstow recource manager Roxie Trost informed local residents that the 86-87 route network was the one currently in effect until WEMO is signed. The map included the old Moss Mill Road. J1299 was non existant.
We questioned why J1299 has not been closed in light of continuing OHV damage to a well known cultural site and their reply was they were waiting for finalization of WEMO before rehabbing closed routes......
In the interm, the destruction continues.
