This map also included roads on my property and there is no easement whatsoever there. The BLM did indicate they had no intention of reopening the Moss Mill Road due to private property owner rights to deny access without an active easement. While some claim there is an easement across land now owned by Kevin and Tanya, this road is currently closed and is likly to remain so. Free public access to Deep Creek without tresspassing on private property is available and used by many so there is no need to reopen it.
J1299 did not exist on any map until after the Willow Fire. We can only speculate why the BLM wont take action today to close this illegaly created route. It is in violation of the Archeological Protection Act and a contradiction of their own ACEC management plan. No wonder the BLM is always losing in court.....all they have to do is obey the law.
