Malign: to speak evil of, slander, malicious. Malice: active ill will; desire to harm another; evil intent. Malicious: spiteful. These words to not describe my intent in expressing concern about Mike Castro's activities. I know for my part, while in a function like a meeting of the DCV group, I do not bring up these issues about my concerns about Mike Castro. I stick to the mission of the group which is to concentrate on helping DCHS itself. Outside of this group, I am an individual with an opinion. This subject was brought up at our last meeting. It was suggested by one group member that the group should somehow put some expectation or condition on group members that they not express negativity toward Mike Castro, on thier own time, outside the group. The DCV group, in my opinion, should never intrude itself into the private lives of its members, by trying to control thier activities, outside the group. By my experience, the current active DCV group members, thus far, have stayed very well focused on the positive steps we can take to help DCHS, as a collection of concerned volunteers. As I said before, this is a " very " important feature of our stated mission. We all hold differant views, but we also have been able to work together toward this goal of helping the springs. Mike Castro may have reservations about me, but he has no reasonable reason to fear the simple activities of the DCV group, the two are seperate things.
