I have done alot of my electrical work on custom homes in the Oak Hills area where this girl was bit. My mom lives on Oak hill road and my brother developed " Summit Estates " a nice area of homes on the west side of the freeway near the Oak hill offramp. You can see the big homes from the freeway :-) That area has many Mohave Green rattlesnakes which are " very " poisonous. I have seen many up there especially during this time of year. On one memorial weekend at the springs I saw 4 rattlesnakes. One of them crawled right by us while we were sitting on the beach area across the creek from the main pools. Really watch out on the trails at dusk so as not to step on one. Getting bit at the springs on a hot day wouldn't be a good thing :-(
