Very good reminder. I hike nude to the springs and back as well. The same thing happened to me years ago. I spent a little too much time in the crab cooker on a hot day. By the time I got to the top of the hill hiking out I was in trouble. It was the same kind of 25 steps then rest kind of hike as well. Took a long time to hike out. Luckily I brought plenty of water and had more waiting at my truck when I got back. If the temps are going to be high it is better to just stay away. Spring and fall hiking are better anyway.
