Wizard,
I take exception to your statement that "by far, the biggest portion of the people who do 'bad' things at the springs go through the Bowen ranch." Maybe I do not visit the springs as often as you, but on my last visit there, the group that camped for a few days by the stream and left a fire pit full of half burned trash and glass could have come from anywhere, but the car count in the lot suggests it was not from there.
I participated in and witnessed eight large bags of trash and one broken ice cooler being brought out of the springs through the ranch. The nice people who carried all the trash out were not the ones who brought it in. I am sure that there are times when a person might observe the opposite, as entering through the ranch does not make a person any better or worse than others, but your statement is an insult to good people who enter through the ranch and carry out the trash of others, often in trash bags supplied by Mike.
Your posts that I've read over the past few days seem reasonably free of the vilification and name-calling that others have shown, so perhaps you will see my point (?)
But, perhaps what is missing in this discussion is what is meant by the "bad" things? Maybe we should discuss what things we think are really bad, then come up with ways to work together, no matter how we enter the springs, to fix the problems.
