Re: JOBE's true story 5/19/02

I was there this past weekend 6-15 to 17. and saw all kinds of behavior there, as I am not offended by much of anything, BUT.all this stuff going on away from the springs has got to stop.
I see a bunch of well-meaning people doing their best to keep this wonderful place open for all of us. There is only one problem with that; the same people that are working to keep it clean and glass free are also advocating using other parking away from the ranch. This opens up the springs to all kinds of misuse and abuse. If all who use this place were to cooperate in keeping the riffraff out ( what is riffraff ? ), there would not be the problem of broken glass, vandalized vehicles,(perverts ), at the springs.
I feel that the people who want to keep this place open should get together and come to some kind of agreement on access and shut off the easy way down to the ones who would not be let in otherwise there would not be the @!#$ that is going on. I have only been coming here for about 3 years and I feel responsible for what I do and feel that every person who can walk that trail should also be responsible for what she or he does.
Myself, I feel strongly we all should work together to end strife and back biting, as it does no one any good and spoils this place for all.
THERE IS NOTHING TO BE GAINED, ONLY LOSS FOR ALL.
